NY Kids Club & NY Preschool is inspiring today’s children to succeed in tomorrow’s world with our love for play— and we’re looking for an Assistant Preschool Teacher in our 2's and 3's Private Preschool to join our growing team!

Here’s what a Assistant Preschool Teacher’s day looks like:
- Safety is our number one pillar! Ensure each student's health and safety at all times through adherence to our daily protocols
- Co-teach our preschool and enrichment classes by using our unique, creative and original curriculum to bring learning to life!
- Provide ongoing support to each student in their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth by learning through play in a positive and caring way
- Engage daily with parents and caregivers, sharing your classroom’s day-to-day activities and developmental milestones

Requirements:
This job is for you if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED- required
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred (Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Special Education highly recommended) or are in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree
- Have 1 year of teaching experience (ideally in a preschool classroom)
- Are a self-starter, highly motivated, dynamic, and a creative team player
- Have excellent communication skills
- Are a lifelong learner!
Position can be Part Time (8-1) in just Preschool or Full Time (8:30-5:30) in Preschool and After School Classes

The pay rate for this role is $21/hr
Physical Demands:
The role involves standing, walking, sitting, constant movement, and occasional climbing. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. Specific sensory abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
