Salary: $30–$35/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Plumber to join our growing team in Hampton Bays, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of high-end pool and plumbing installations while leading a crew and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install pipes, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, cement, caulking, soldering, and welding tools.
• Conduct pressure testing on pipes and fixtures to detect and locate leaks.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
• Plan installations by assessing structures and identifying required materials and equipment.
• Install PVC piping (1”–10” diameter) for swimming pools and related systems.
• Supervise and train junior plumbers and helpers; uphold quality and safety standards.
• Core drill through concrete walls and cut structural openings as needed.
• Perform layout and marking of pipe installations using measuring instruments.
• Fill out detailed daily work orders and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and operational work truck.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to meet deadlines.
• Attend job site meetings and maintain professional communication with clients and coworkers.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in plumbing, with a focus on high-end pools and spas.
• Working knowledge of 1½” to 10” PVC piping and basic hydraulics is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
