Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for experienced Speech Language Pathologists to support a K-12 school setting in Newark, NY during the 2025-2026 academic year. This role offers a meaningful caseload focused on students with mild to severe disabilities, including Autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down Syndrome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Utilize teletherapy skills when appropriate alongside onsite therapy methods
  • Monitor and document student progress according to state and district guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State SLP license required
  • Active TSSLD certification
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational and healthcare settings
  • Competence in teletherapy service delivery
  • Strong understanding of diverse disabilities and communication disorders
