We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional projects that meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in ground-up construction and lump sum contracting. This mid- to senior-level role will be responsible for managing on-site construction operations from pre-construction through close-out. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Field Supervision & Site Coordination
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage subcontractors and trades to ensure coordinated execution of all scopes of work.
- Supervise material deliveries, validate quantity and quality, and maintain accurate records (bills of lading, delivery tickets, etc.).
- Ensure jobsite safety and compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Maintain public safety and manage site security measures.
Project & Team Management
- Coordinate closely with the Senior Project Superintendent and Project Manager.
- Prepare daily logs, time sheets, compliance forms, quality control checklists, and other required reports.
- Lead subcontractor meetings, safety briefings, and onsite inspections (including with bank or third-party inspectors).
- Monitor subcontractor requisitions in partnership with project managers.
Administrative & Technical Oversight
- Interpret and enforce project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Use software tools such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook, and Word for daily operations and reporting.
- Manage trade contractor documentation, including sign-in sheets and site badging systems.
Qualifications:Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction trades, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated expertise in ground-up construction and lump sum contracting.
- Experience managing project budgets and subcontractor performance.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Certifications & Licenses
- NYC Construction Superintendent License - Required
Preferred Software Knowledge
- Procore (strongly preferred)
- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project
