Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery
Location: 1400 Pelham Pkwy S, Bronx, NY 10461
Shift: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM (Rotating weekends required; must report as scheduled, including holidays)
Travel Pay Rate: $2900 weekly
Local Pay Rate :$2550 Weekly ($74 ON W2)
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery will provide direct and specialized care to patients in the labor, delivery, and recovery process. The role requires a strong background in maternal and child health with the ability to work in high-acuity settings.
At least 2 years of experience in an Acute setting required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after labor
Administer medications, including those used for pain management and conscious sedation
Perform and interpret fetal monitoring
Support physicians and midwives during deliveries
Assist in neonatal resuscitation and postnatal care
Initiate and manage IV lines; perform phlebotomy as needed
Communicate clearly with patients and families to provide education and support
Document all patient care accurately and promptly
Required Qualifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- New York State RN License.
- Two years of the following experience is required: Maternal and child experience IV Insertion and phlebotomy skill Conscious sedation
