Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Radiologic Technologist with a focus on interventional radiology, located in Webster, NY. Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality diagnostic radiologic images through accurate positioning and exposure selection.
- Assist Radiologists during neuro-interventional radiology procedures after completing training.
- Prepare and instruct patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, including administering oral contrast as required.
- Operate and demonstrate proficiency with all x-ray equipment including CR and DR systems.
- Maintain equipment functionality by promptly reporting malfunctions.
- Support departmental operations by assisting with clerical tasks, stocking, and transporting patients.
- Promote patient rights and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
- Utilize Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and PACS efficiently.
- Engage in hospital performance improvement initiatives and communicate professionally with medical staff.
Qualifications:
- Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiologic technology.
- Valid radiologic technologist licensure in the state of New York.
- Preferred experience in interventional radiology; training provided for candidates transitioning from other modalities.
