Title: Human Resources Training Specialist

Pay Rate: $35.00/hr

Location: New York, NY

Note: this is a W2 contract position – C2C & 3 rd party candidates WILL NOT be considered

We are seeking a Human Resources Training Specialist. We are seeking candidates who enjoy collaborating to arrive at innovative and intuitive solutions, and are sensitive to diverse perspectives of stakeholders. Reporting to the Sr Manager of User Engagement, Education & Tech Academy, this role will be responsible for assisting with end-user communication and training administration, coordination, and facilitation. Job duties include, but are not limited to;

• Supporting multiple Learning Management Systems, administering, and coordinating training initiatives

• Drafting written communications about technology initiatives using multiple channels (email, chatbot, etc.)

• Writing and designing step-by-step directions/documentation for employees

• Actively participating and bringing ideas to brainstorming sessions

• Writing engaging and clear updates to inform employees

• Collaborating with various internal teams through Microsoft tools

• Juggling multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders

Position Qualifications:

• Strong, prior training and/or instructional experience

• Previous experience administering Learning Management Systems

• A strong understanding of adult learning theory, including the ability to make content and information digestible

• Ability to give and receive feedback quickly

• Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail

• Strong writing skills with professionalism communicating to all levels of employees

• Proficiency using Microsoft Office365 tools (specifically OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, & Teams)

• Proficiency with both MACs and PCs preferred

• Experience facilitating events or leading training modules preferred

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Adult Education, Teaching, Instructional Design, Communications, Writing, or other relevant field, OR equivalent professional working experience
