Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator with strong experience in manufacturing and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional mechanical abilities and have experience in production operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and switch jobs as required.
- Perform tasks efficiently and within standard time allotment.
- Keep track of materials in the area.
- Conduct minor maintenance of machines.
- Maintain an excellent attendance record.
- Verify all parts are conforming before signing off on traveler.
- Monitor and document all scrap, seeking corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain all inspection gauges and tooling as required.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.
- Function effectively within a team environment.
- Run parts from the bin, follow SOPs, load parts and materials.
- Operate the machine to produce pieces.
- Conduct quality checks and document basic findings.
Essential Skills
- Previous manufacturing experience with industrial equipment.
- Production operation experience.
- Mechanical ability is a must.
- Understanding of mechanical aptitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (documentation required).
- Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and excellent attitude.
- Previous machining experience or education/training in machining preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and operate hand tools.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and general labor duties.

Work Environment
You will work on the Week Night Shift as an EDM Operator, with a 10% differential on the Night shift. The dress code includes steel toe boots, jeans, and a long sleeve shirt. Safety shoes are required from the first day, with each person managing 4-5 pieces of equipment at a time across the production and machine department.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MIDDLETOWN, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $19.80/hr.
