Are you a creative powerhouse who lights up a room? Do you believe in the transformative power of art for both energetic children and wise seniors?

We are seeking a dynamic, professional Art Instructor to bring engaging, structured art sessions to diverse community settings—from vibrant inner-city schools to peaceful nursing centers. You’ll be the catalyst for creativity, joy, and connection.

Your Mission:

· Independently facilitate structured, joyful, and accessible art workshops for two distinct audiences: school-aged children and elderly residents in care centers.

· Travel to assigned locations (your own reliable transportation is a major plus).

· Command a room with energy, clarity, and a good sense of humor—managing different group dynamics with ease.

· Use our supplied art materials to teach fun, project-based sessions that inspire confidence and self-expression.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

· A Creative & Engaging Facilitator: Able to hold the attention of both a lively classroom and a thoughtful senior group.

· Professionally Adaptable: Reliable, punctual, and presents themselves professionally at schools and care facilities.

· Big-Hearted & Patient: Genuinely loves working with people across all ages and life experiences.

· A Natural Storyteller: Uses humor, clear instruction, and encouragement to guide each session.

· Logistically Prepared: Comfortable transporting basic supplies and adapting setups in different environments.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

· Proven experience teaching or facilitating art workshops (formal or informal).

· Strong competency in mixed media; experience with clay/modeling creations is a huge plus!

· Ability to design and follow a lesson plan that is both structured and flexible.

· Comfort working independently and representing our program with warmth and professionalism.

· Owns a reliable vehicle (preferred).

What We Provide:

· All necessary art supplies and materials for each session.

· A per-diem schedule—perfect for artists, grad students, or educators seeking meaningful side work.

· Competitive per-hour rate for session time.

· The incredible reward of making a tangible difference in your community, sparking joy across generations.
