Job DescriptionHealthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a X-ray technician to work in a medical facility located in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Location: Utica, NY, 13502
Pay Rate-
$61.50/hr
Shift:
7-4:30PM 9-6:30PM 7 on/7 off - guarantee of 63 hours in a two-week period
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Operate X-ray equipment to capture clear images of designated body areas.
- Follow physician orders to accurately position patients and equipment.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Process and review images to ensure quality and clarity.
- Keep detailed patient records and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret results and provide accurate diagnostics.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience required EPIC experience required ARRT required BLS required
- The employee must have a valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license.
- Position is for general radiology, not interventional or CT.
