Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A registered nurse with specialized experience in neonatal intensive care is needed for a contract role based in Syracuse, NY. This position offers the opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills in a busy NICU environment, providing critical care to newborns and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active and clear RN license
  • Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
  • Proficiency in EPIC charting system

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
  • Adhere to all regulatory and facility protocols to ensure patient safety

Schedule and Contract Details:

  • 36 hours per week
  • 16-week contract duration
  • Dress code: Any color scrubs

Candidates living within a 50-mile radius from the facility are eligible for a local rate. This role emphasizes a commitment to high-quality neonatal care and continuous professional development.
