Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide mail service for office personnel: Separate mail appropriately, including confidential correspondence, checks, and other mail. Prepare mail for postal pick up and ensure proper postage maintained.
- Perform large scanning and photocopy projects as requested by company personnel.
- Answer, screen, and forward telephone calls through the company computerized switchboard (Microsoft Teams). Provide appropriate information to callers and transfer calls to proper individuals.
- Prepare overnight shipments via UPS for pickup daily. This includes, packaging, weighing, and measuring boxes.
- Schedule meetings for office personnel.
- Drive company vehicle to pick up and deliver business materials and correspondence as requested by employees.
- Perform timely pick up and distribution of mail to and from appropriate departments.
- Sustain office supplies, placing orders when supply is diminishing. Provide supplies to employees as requested.
- Monitor visitor access and help them navigate through the office.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk. Record keeping of temporary badges given to guests, employees, and vendors.
- Cultivate positive work environment, promote participation in company initiatives and events.
- Perform clerical tasks and projects associated with multiple departments, including computer data entry and filing.
Knowledge skills and abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Strength in time management, ability to multitask and attention to detail
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational talent
- Flexibility is a plus
Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 Hourly
