Job Salary: $155k-$250k (DOE)

Transaction Associate

Position Overview
The M&A Associate will play a critical role in supporting the mergers and acquisitions team by conducting due diligence, valuation analyses, and assisting in the overall execution of transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the M&A process, contributing to strategic planning and market research efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential acquisition targets
  • Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses to assess business worth
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for clients and stakeholders
  • Support the negotiation process of transactions by providing analytical insights
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout all stages of the M&A process
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic plans for acquisitions
  • Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and risks
  • Support the execution of transactions from initiation to completion

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance
  • Strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions processes
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience with market research and strategic planning
  • Knowledge of legal compliance and capital markets
