Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A 13-week contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Med/Tele unit at a well-equipped hospital in Webster, NY. This role offers the chance to support a specialized 43-bed unit, delivering critical care to cardiac and telemetry patients during the evening shift.
Schedule/Hours:
- Evenings, 12-hour shifts from 3 PM to 3 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend
- Minimum of one holiday shift required during the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac med/tele patients
- Utilize EPIC electronic charting system for accurate documentation
- Float to other units as needed to support facility operations
- Take on charge nurse responsibilities with provided training
- Adapt to scheduling changes and block booking requests to meet patient needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active New York RN license
- NIH AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum one year recent experience in acute medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
- Preferred two years recent acute med surg/tele experience
- Non-U.S. trained candidates must have two years U.S. work experience
