Job DescriptionSalary: $180,000-$220,000

As Head of Growth, you will drive long-term revenue growth by leading the strategic direction of our sales and marketing efforts across multiple business units. This role blends high-level market strategy with operational leadership, ensuring we win in our core markets and expand into new ones. Youll define our growth trajectory, develop our go-to-market approach, cultivate high-impact partnerships, and ensure teams are aligned, equipped and accountable. A deep technical understanding of our products and applications is essential for success.

Salary? The base pay range for this position is $180,00-$220,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidates experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation.


1. LMA (Leadership, Management, & Accountability) (20%)

  • Contribute as a key member of the senior leadership team
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to direct reports, fostering a high performing culture aligned with G&Gs overall business objectives
  • Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for all direct reports, conducting regular reviews and providing coaching to ensure individual and team success
  • Champion collaboration and communication across sales channels, marketing, and sales engineering to ensure a unified go-to-market approach
  • Identify and support the strengths of team members, creating opportunities for professional growth and development
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key financial performance indicators related to growth and business development, providing actionable insights to senior leadership

2. Strategic Growth & Business Development (40%)

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive growth strategies encompassing market expansion, successful new product introductions, penetration of new customer segments, and acceleration of overall revenue
  • Provide strategic sales direction to both existing sales channels
  • Identify, cultivate, and close strategic partnerships with key partners such as Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Lighting & Manufacturing Representatives, Distributor Partners, and National Accounts
  • Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs to identify opportunities and guide strategic decisions
  • Develop multi-year sales and marketing plans with measurable targets

3. Sales & Marketing Integration (30%)

  • Integrate sales and marketing strategies and messaging to drive alignment and performance
  • Lead cross functional initiatives to improve lead to close conversion and sales velocity
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are effective in generating high quality leads that convert into profitable business opportunities
  • Drive strategies to build and maintain a strong brand presence for G&G in the market, enhancing recognition and reputation
  • Guide and support marketing in demand generation, content strategy, and events

4. Product Insight & Innovation Leadership (10%)

  • Develop a deep understanding of technical product features, use cases and applications
  • Use technical credibility to influence strategic sales opportunities and partnerships
  • Leverage insights from market intelligence to make strategic, data-driven decisions regarding the product roadmap, market positioning, and new business development initiatives
  • Identify and recommend customer driven improvements and opportunities
  • Support solution architecture discussions and new product development

Success in this role means consistently achieving and exceeding revenue growth targets by strategically expanding G&G's market presence, optimizing sales channels, fostering high-performing teams, and driving innovation based on market intelligence. You'll have built strong, profitable partnerships and ensured that G&G's brand and solutions are recognized as industry leaders, championing our deep technical expertise and product advantages as core drivers of our success.


Key Measurables:

  • Revenue Growth - Year-over-year percentage increase in total company revenue
  • New Market/Channel Penetration - Number of new market segments or channels successfully entered and revenue generated from them
  • Sales Pipeline Value & Conversion Rate - Growth in the qualified sales pipeline and improvement in the win rate across all channels
  • Key Partnership Acquisition & Revenue - Number of strategic partnerships established and the direct revenue attributable to them

What will I need to succeed?

  • Must align with our Core Values
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in sales, marketing, and / or business development
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial or engineered products required
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field; MBA or advanced degree in business preferred
  • Prove track record of driving growth in complex, technical B2B environments
  • Strong background in industrial or engineered product markets
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, lead change, and align teams around strategic objectives
  • Experience managing sales teams across multiple segments or business units
  • Track record of developing go-to-market strategy and strategic marketing leadership
  • Skilled in data-driven decision making, negotiation and stakeholder alignment
  • Excellent communication and executive presence with internal and external audiences
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
