Job Title: Echo Technician
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Day Shift)
Pay Rate: $60 – $67 per hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Echo Technician to provide high-quality echocardiography services in both hospital and outpatient clinic settings. This is a 14-week assignment offering day shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, and no on-call requirement.
Key Responsibilities

Perform 2-D and 3-D echocardiograms

Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) studies

Perform exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms

Assist with procedures in the Heart and Vascular Center

Accurately interpret and document EKG rhythms and cardiac terminology

Maintain compliance with quality assurance standards

Participate in ongoing training and performance improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum 6 months of cardiac ultrasound experience

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS OR

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
(Registry-eligible candidates may be considered) -
Current CPR-BLS certification

Strong knowledge of EKG rhythms and cardiac terminology
Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in a related healthcare field
