As a Lead Preschool Teacher working with 2 5 year olds at Primrose of Manhattan at East 82nd Street, youll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop childrens confidence and independence.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required, MS in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Valid NYS B-2 Teaching Certificate or study plan eligible
- 2 years of classroom teaching, preschool, PreK, or education experience required
- CPR / First Aid certified required
- Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children in childcare setting
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- Employee must be at least 21 years of age.
