A registered nurse with NICU experience is needed to provide specialized care for newborns in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This contract role offers an opportunity to work night shifts in a supportive clinical environment, delivering critical nursing care to infants while collaborating with an experienced healthcare team.
Location: Auburn, NY

Schedule/Hours:
- Nights: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- 36 hours per week
- Four weekend shifts required in a 4-week period
- No blocked scheduling
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active and clear Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, and NRP required
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
- Ability to wear any color scrubs
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Deliver skilled nursing care to critically ill and premature infants within the NICU
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the healthcare team
- Implement care plans and support families during hospitalization
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
