Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team, specializing in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy cases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in litigation and a deep understanding of insolvency and restructuring processes. This position will involve representing clients in complex bankruptcy cases and providing strategic legal counsel throughout the litigation process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, including drafting and filing necessary legal documents.
  • Advise clients on their rights and obligations under bankruptcy law and develop legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case arguments and strategies.
  • Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with creditors and other parties involved in bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive representation.
  • Stay current on developments in bankruptcy law and litigation practices to provide informed legal advice.

Qualifications

  • Jurisdiction-specific law degree and admission to the bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on bankruptcy and insolvency law.
  • Proven trial experience, particularly in bankruptcy or related litigation cases.
  • Strong analytical and legal research skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
