Pay Rate: $30 - $35 per hour

Are you an experienced welder with a strong background in stainless steel fabrication? We’re hiring a Skilled Welder to join a well-established manufacturer in Kingston, NY. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, long-term stability, and the chance to work on custom industrial equipment.

Welder Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel components
• Fabricate and assemble filter presses, filter housings, and related equipment
• Assist with machine maintenance tasks that require welding or custom fabrication
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings
• Inspect welds and finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following strict safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with engineering, production, and maintenance teams

Welder Qualifications:

• 5+ years of stainless steel welding and fabrication experience
• Proficient in both MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and production plans
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Comfortable using power tools, fabrication equipment, and basic math in daily tasks
• Must be computer-literate and familiar with basic software (Microsoft Word, Excel, email)

• Knowledge of OSHA and manufacturing safety standards
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs consistently, climb stairs/ladders, and wear PPE
