Hazen and Sawyer is seeking entry-level engineers for our Saratoga Springs, NY office. As part of our design and process teams, you will work on water and wastewater projects, including drinking water/wastewater treatment facility upgrades, biosolids planning and facility design, conveyance systems, stormwater management, water resources, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, process modeling, hydraulic modeling, and design reports
- Prepare engineering specifications, data sheets, sketches, drawings and perform engineering calculations
- Manage data for modeling and design
- Attend client and internal project management meetings
- Support multiple projects from planning through construction
- Participate in fieldwork and site visits
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering
- Strong interest in the water/wastewater industry
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 0-2 years of relevant experience within the water/wastewater industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- EIT certification
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in environmental, civil, or chemical
- Conducts self-quality reviews before submitting work for additional QA/QC

- Starting pay range $75,000 - $95,000 depending on skills, experience, and education
