Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician – Level II to join our manufacturing team at Client . in Lakewood, NY. This hybrid apprentice role offers hands-on experience and structured training with a clear pathway to becoming a Certified Journeyman Electrician. In this role, you will contribute to equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Equipment Availability by performing electrical maintenance and machine support tasks to minimize downtime.
- Promote a Safe Work Environment by strictly adhering to and promoting Client ’ Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Maintain High Quality Standards by following quality processes and demonstrating strong attention to detail in all work activities.
- Support Preventive Maintenance (PM) by conducting routine maintenance and offering feedback to improve PM strategies.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Electrical Issues on manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Support Continuous Improvement by identifying manufacturing constraints, solving problems, and participating in productivity and quality improvement efforts.
- Communicate Effectively with team members, support teams, and leadership to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Engage in Ongoing Learning and Development to support personal growth and align with business goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some professional experience or intermediate-level knowledge gained through education, training, or hands-on work.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Ability to participate in structured learning and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Internal candidates must have an accredited 2-year associate degree in one of the following or equivalent fields:
- Electrical Design
- Industrial Electrical Machine Controls/Programming
- Mechatronics
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
Certifications (if any)
- May require specific licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
