Licensed Practical Nurse Vaccination Administration

Job DescriptionOur client, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team, focusing on vaccination administration.

- Administer vaccines as ordered, ensuring proper patient identification and documentation
- Provide Vaccine Information Sheets (VIS) to patients and/or guardians
- Update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with accurate vaccine information
- Maintain and revise records in the Citywide Immunization Registry (CIR)
- Serve as the point of contact for Medical Assistants regarding vaccination-related inquiries
- Conduct monthly vaccine inventory checks at the assigned site
- Adhere to all infection control policies and procedures
- Participate in internal training sessions and staff development
- Perform additional duties or assignments as needed
Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Minimum two years of clinical experience required
- Pediatric experience is essential
- Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse license
Valid CPR certification (Basic Life Support)
