Job DescriptionOur client, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team, focusing on vaccination administration.

  • Administer vaccines as ordered, ensuring proper patient identification and documentation
  • Provide Vaccine Information Sheets (VIS) to patients and/or guardians
  • Update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with accurate vaccine information
  • Maintain and revise records in the Citywide Immunization Registry (CIR)
  • Serve as the point of contact for Medical Assistants regarding vaccination-related inquiries
  • Conduct monthly vaccine inventory checks at the assigned site
  • Adhere to all infection control policies and procedures
  • Participate in internal training sessions and staff development
  • Perform additional duties or assignments as needed

Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse license

  • Minimum two years of clinical experience required
  • Pediatric experience is essential
  • Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse license
Valid CPR certification (Basic Life Support)
