Department: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Schedule: 34.5 hours/week — 3 shifts of 11.5 hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Position Overview
A major acute-care hospital in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab to support its cardiac catheterization services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and cardiac procedures, delivering high-quality patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization interventions.
Key Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures

Monitor and care for critically ill cardiac patients throughout all phases of care

Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy

Administer conscious sedation as required

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Comply with safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards and policies
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience

Strong skills in:
-
IV insertion
-
Phlebotomy
-
Conscious sedation
-
-
Prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
Education & Licensure Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program

Active New York State RN License (primary source verification required)

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
