🌟 Contract Designer - Sport/Swim (PINK)
📍 Location: Manhattan, NYC (Hybrid preferred)

Overview:
Our client, a global leader in Women's Fashion, is seeking a talented and fast-paced Apparel Designer to support the Sport and Swim collections line. This hands-on role focuses on Illustrator sketching, tech pack creation, and supporting the design team during a critical calendar period.
We’re looking for a multi-tasker with great Illustrator speed, a positive attitude, and solid technical knowledge of construction — especially in sport/swimwear. The ideal candidate is flexible, hard-working, and comfortable jumping into a fast-paced, high-energy team.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
- Sketch product designs in Illustrator with speed and precision
- Color lines using Illustrator and InDesign
- Build and update detailed tech packs with BOMs and construction callouts
- Collaborate with senior designers to execute seasonal concepts
- Conduct research and trend analysis to support product development
- Support tech pack management, line sheet updates, and vendor communication
- Work with Product Development and Technical Design to ensure quality execution
- Be flexible and available onsite when needed (2 days a week preferred)
✅ Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in fashion design, preferably in sport/swim/intimates
- Must be a fast and clean sketcher using Illustrator (non-negotiable)
- Tech pack creation and construction knowledge (sport/swim is ideal)
- Familiar with Centric PLM, Adobe Creative Suite, and InDesign
- Organized, upbeat, and collaborative team player
- Able to multitask across fast-changing priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience

- Experience with bra construction or swimwear design
- Familiarity with Gen Z styling and culture
- Prior experience at a large fashion brand or agency
