Real Estate Leasing Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Real Estate Leasing Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will specialize in commercial leasing and possess a deep understanding of real estate leases and tenant representation. This role will involve providing legal guidance on leasing agreements and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate commercial office leasing agreements
- Provide legal advice on real estate leases and leasing practices
- Represent clients in tenant representation matters
- Review and analyze lease agreements for compliance and legal standards
- Assist clients in resolving disputes related to leasing agreements
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting real estate leasing
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Barred in NY
- 3+ years of experience in real estate leasing law
- Strong knowledge of commercial leasing practices and tenant representation
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal documents and provide strategic advice
