JOB SUMMARY
You will work in a magnificent outdoor campground which includes Olympic sized pools, an archery range, basketball courts, lake for boating, amphitheater, playground, gaga courts and sports fields. This position includes Counselors and Specialists.
ABOUT YOU
You are a fun, energetic, caring and mature person who loves working with children for the Summer 2025 season. You will work with children of various ages.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Counselors: You typically work as a team with at two other counselors and one group of children, and are responsible for the health and welfare of their campers each day. You are with your group throughout the day at all of the activities and trips, assisting the specialists and supporting and encouraging their campers.
Specialists You will be responsible for implementing programs and experiences for children in a small group setting which include skill development in a specific area. Areas include but are not limited to one of the following: soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, football, lacrosse, fencing, nature, science exploration, dance, yoga or gymnastics.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Counselors must be at least entering their junior year of high school by the beginning of the camp season.
- Specialists must be at least 18 years of age by the beginning of the camp season.
- You must be available to work weekdays for 8 weeks, Monday, June 30, Friday - August 22from 7:45am -4:30pm plus attend Pre-Camp Trainings. Camp is closed Thursday July 4.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred: School Experience
- Speak English
- Speak Spanish
- Driver License
- CDL
SALARY
$400.00 - $1,733.00 per month
