We are an organic garden and landscaping company seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Crew Members to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess skills in various landscaping and garden work tasks. As a Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our clients' properties through garden maintenance, garden installation, and landscaping assistance. We are a friendly and laid back team and pride ourselves on offering a safe, respectful, and comfortable work environment. Our company is expanding quickly and we are also offering project manager positions to exceptional employees with diverse skillsets. We are also seeking trade specialists and equipment operators. Employment is Part-Time (5 to 25 hours per week). We work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm. (Saturdays optional). Our normal working season is April 1 - Dec. 1, but winter hours may be available for select services.
All employees will be hired on a temporary, probationary basis and offered continued part-time employment based on performance. All work is "on the books". You will be required to complete tax and employment eligibility forms. Employment may be contingent upon the successful completion of a drug test and background check in accordance with applicable laws. You will also be required to agree to our Company Handbook. Work references are required.

We have several part-time and full time salaried management positions we are looking to fill by Spring 2026! Open positions include Garden Maintenance Manager, Garden Installation Manager, and General Contracting Manager. We will also be seeking Garden Service Sales Representative by 2026. Existing garden crew members will be considered first for these positions.
Work Locations
We work at various job sites within approximately a 25 mile radius of Red Hook, NY. Common work sites include Red Hook, Hudson, and Stanfordville. As a courtesy, we schedule our employees closer to their town of residence if possible.

- Reliable Vehicle: We work at various locations within approximately 30 minutes of Red Hook, NY. You MUST have reliable transportation to be able to get to these locations.

- Physical Resilience: This is a physical labor job!! You must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, and have the ability to easily stand, bend, walk, lift, and pull for extended periods of time.
- Professionalism: You are expected to act professionally at all times especially when engaging with clients. Foul language, inappropriate conversation, and inappropriate behavior are not tolerated. Employees may also be required to adhere to a dress code or wear a company uniform.
- Teamwork: You are expected to work harmoniously with team members to complete work efficiently and effectively.
- Attention To Detail: Our clients pay very close attention to detail and this skill is required for employment. You MUST be able to follow instructions accurately and must not be afraid to ask questions if you are unsure!
- Safety Consciousness: While our company is very mindful of safety, there is always a chance of injury when engaged in physical labor. All employees are expected to follow all company rules regarding safety, wear appropriate footwear, gloves, and safety gear, and exercise reasonable judgement while working or using tools

- Health Consciousness: We are an ORGANIC garden company! We do not use any chemicals or pesticides in our work.
- Drug-Free: Drug use (whether legal or illegal) of any kind is strictly prohibited before or during work. This include the prohibition of marijuana and any type of alcohol. Employees may be required to submit to drug tests (for hard drugs/illegal substances). Possession of illegal substances is ground for immediate termination. Cigarette smoking or vaping is not permitted close homes or work areas.

Responsibilities
- Garden Maintenance: Yard & garden cleanup; weeding, deadheading, and pruning of plants; watering plants; mulching; soil amendment; other basic maintenance activities.
- Garden Installation: Dig and prepare soil for planting plants, shrubs, or trees as directed.
- Landscaping: Brush clearing, mowing, weed-whacking, and similar activities. Note high risk activities, involving chainsaws/heavy equipment/etc. are performed only by managers and trained specialists.
- Operating low-risk tools such as scissors, pruning shears, trowels, shovels, rakes, weed whackers, and leaf blowers. If you have specialty skills (chainsaws, carpentry, machine operation, masonry, arborist, fence installation, etc.), let us know! Higher pay rates are available.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Experience
- Knowledge of specific plants and trees (ability to identify, plant care, etc.) is a huge plus.
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to gardening and landscaping is essential.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
