A Speech Language Pathologist is sought for a K-12 public school setting in Le Roy, NY, to provide specialized speech and language services for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position offers 7 hours per week with a schedule aligned to the traditional school year, starting September 4, 2025, and ending June 26, 2026. The role requires delivering effective teletherapy and in-person speech-language services to students across all grade levels, with caseload details forthcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and provide therapy to students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques alongside traditional therapy methods to maximize treatment effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid New York State SLP license.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational and healthcare settings.
- Proficient in both teletherapy and onsite service delivery.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
