Lifeline Center for Child Development is a small, trauma-informed, non-profit agency in Queens Village, NY, providing mental health and wellness services for children with trauma histories and psychiatric needs, along with their families. Lifeline hosts a Child & Family Clinic, and a separate Day Treatment Program on it's Queens campus. This position is for a Therapist in the Child & Family Clinic.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Child & Family Therapist at Lifeline Center for Child Development located in Queens Village, NY. The Child & Family Therapist will engage in day-to-day tasks including providing therapeutic interventions, conducting play therapy, engaging parents in therapeutic meetings, and collaborating with other professionals within the clinic to offer comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Experience Working With Children
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Master's degree & licensure in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC-LP, or Psy. D. required)
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably with children or adolescents

Schedule

• Tuesdays 11AM - 7PM
• Wednesdays & Thursdays 10AM - 6PM
• Fridays & Saturdays 9AM - 5PM
• Off Sundays & Mondays

Compensation & Benefits

$60-70K salary annually
