Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to perform a wide range of carpentry tasks on our construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry principles, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work efficiently and safely. This role requires versatility, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a project team. Schedule: Night shift, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Compensation: Includes Night Shift Pay Differential
Key Responsibilities:

Construction & Installation:
-
Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials.

Perform rough carpentry tasks, including framing walls, floors, and roofs using wood and metal studs.

Execute finish carpentry work, such as installing trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and hardware.

Build and set forms for concrete pouring.

Blueprint Interpretation:

Accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and dimensions.

Calculate dimensions and prepare layouts.

Material & Tool Management:
-
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.

Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Ensure proper care, storage, and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Quality & Safety:
-
Ensure all work meets quality standards, building codes, and project specifications.
-
Adhere strictly to all construction safety practices and regulations (OSHA).

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Collaboration:
-
Work collaboratively with other trades, project managers, and supervisors to ensure seamless project flow and timely completion.

Communicate effectively regarding project progress, challenges, and material needs.

Qualifications:
-
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Carpenter in a construction environment.

Proficiency in both rough and finish carpentry techniques.

Strong knowledge of various building materials, methods, and tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.

Solid understanding of construction safety practices and procedures.
-
Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a cohesive team.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials and equipment (up to 75 lbs) regularly.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and work in various physical positions for extended periods.

Comfortable working in diverse indoor and outdoor weather conditions.

Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
