GENERAL OVERVIEW

Lanc & Tully is seeking a CAD/GIS/IT Manager to join our team. We are a mid-size civil engineering and land surveying firm serving the Hudson Valley area engaged in large and small projects involving municipal projects and representation, as well as private land development projects.

Your role would be to manage company servers and workstations, manage company internet and WIFI, manage company Email, specify and purchase all technical equipment used by the company, generate user guides and training manuals for the common tasks for software used, and build GIS systems to manage GPS data collected. We use ESRI ArcGIS Pro and Autodesk Civil 3D, as well as Microsoft Office Pro software.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITES

· Manage GIS systems using ESRI ArcGIS Pro and ArcMAP.

· Manage Autodesk Civil 3D CAD system.

· Anticipate need for equipment upgrades and purchases.

· Set up new employees with Check in sheet, email address, Photo ID badge, User Guides, workstation assignment, & camera if needed.

· Ensure software versions and licenses are up to date.

· Document administrative access for software and equipment.

· Contact technical support for all software and computers when issues arise.

· Ensure spare batteries, mice and keyboards, printer ink cartridges, & cameras are in inventory.

· Update Lanc & Tully equipment database with any changes.

· Manage door lock system, door lock schedules, and door cards for lock system.

· Basic maintenance and repair of computers and systems.

· Periodically copy drive folders to other drive locations for safety saves.

· Run company website and coordinate website with Website Hosting company.

· Gather and update GIS data for company library.

· Perform weekly and monthly checks on local workstations for program updates; network file maintenance; prepare full weekly and monthly backup of systems

· Ensure proper interconnection of all printers, scanners and plotters with server system and individual stations.

Qualifications:

· 5 to 10-years’ experience in CAD/IT Management.

· Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information Technology.

· Strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills preferred.

· Strong Esri ARC GIS skills preferred.

· Hold strong skills in computer science and information technology.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office business software.

· Team-spirited, with effective oral and written communication skills.

Base Salary

$85,000/yr – 95,000/yr based upon experience
