Position Overview:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in Guardianship and Estate Litigation, with a primary focus on Surrogates Court matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate litigation and guardianship proceedings, with the ability to manage complex matters independently and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle guardianship and estate litigation cases in Surrogates Court
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
• Advise clients on estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters
• Attend court hearings and represent clients effectively
• Collaborate with partners and support staff to ensure seamless case management

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• Proven experience in guardianship and estate litigation, with primary Surrogates Court experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent client communication and organizational abilities
