Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the complete school year (CSY) in a K-12 school setting located in Monticello, NY. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to pediatric students across various grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each students unique needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records of student performance and treatment outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal education and healthcare regulations.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Experience with pediatric populations in healthcare and school environments.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology best practices in K-12 educational settings.
  • Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
