OGX Productions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Paralegal to support our Business Affairs team. This role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of agreements across our venues and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a contract role with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, redline, and review contracts including but not limited to: Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Vendor Services Agreements, Sponsorship Agreements, Independent Contractor Agreements, Venue Rental Agreements, Appearance Release Forms and Waivers, Sweepstakes/Contest Terms, and NDAs
- Track contracts throughout the full lifecycle from drafting to execution to expiration utilizing established processes and software platforms
- Maintain and update contract logs, templates, and filing systems
- Assist with basic corporate governance tasks and business filings as needed (e.g., entity documentation, business licenses, meeting minutes)
- Summarize key contract terms and ensure internal stakeholders are aware of risks, obligations, deliverables, and deadlines
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, invoicing, and correspondence related to legal documents
- Help identify contract process improvements and ensure document accuracy and compliance
- Correspond with outside counsel as needed or directed
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of relevant paralegal experience, ideally within entertainment, media, or live events
- Strong understanding of contract language and legal terms; ability to draft and review independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to track and manage multiple agreements
- Comfortable working in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Microsoft Word and Excel, DocuSign, and other relevant platforms
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
- Client-service mindset and professional demeanor when working across teams and with external partners
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in live events, location-based entertainment, or touring productions
- Familiarity with international contracts and jurisdictions
- Hands-on production experience is a plus
Compensation:
The pay range for this contract role is $65-$85/ hour.
