Rebmann Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Jobbing Plumbing Mechanic with experience in the heating industry for their Port Washington, NY location, located in and only working in Long Island. The ideal candidate will have experience performing a wide range of plumbing tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair all types of high-efficiency boilers, water heaters, and conventional gas heating equipment
• Perform repair and installation of plumbing fixtures, faucets, liners, and water heaters.
• Continued communication with dispatch, management, the parts department, and the installation team
• Rough and finish plumbing of fixtures
• Perform backflow tests (under our license if not licensed)

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 5 years of experience with plumbing
• Must have lead experience installing boilers and preparing heating systems
• Comfortable with wiring and electrical troubleshooting
• OSHA 10-hour Certificate
• Valid driver’s license / clean driving record

The starting hourly base wage for this position is $35 to $37. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
