Architecture: Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates PC in NY, NY seeks an Architectural Designer II: International Mixed-Use High Rise Buildings to conceptualize, create, design, & develop architectural plans/strategies for int'l mixed-use high-rise buildings construction. Position req Bach deg or for equiv in Architecture, Architectural Design or a closely related field, & 5 yrs of exp & at least 5 yrs w/ conceptualizing, designing, & developing architect plans/strategies for int'l mixed-use high-rise buildings constrc incl. large-scale master planning, office, residential, & hotel, through all phases; arch design, incl. MEP sys, struct sys, vert trans sys, facade & curtain wall design tech details, taking into accnt code & zoning reqts, envirnmntl regs, urban constraints & cities reqts for mixed-used high-rise build proj; drafting tech drawing sets & other arch docs through all phases using AutoCad s/w for mixed-used high-rise build proj; prep presentatns through all phases using Adobe Creative Suite, incl Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign; perform 3D model of complex geometries using sketch up 3D s/w; using enscape for rendering techs to articulate experiential design ideas & demonstrate spatial quality for client's understanding.
