Job Description

Local manufacturer of oxygen and nitrogen generating systems in North Tonawanda, NY is looking to add a quality test technician to their team!!

1st shift hours

Pay varies based on experience - $22-25/hr

Roles and Responsibilities

Specific job duties include:

Maintains integrity of all order-related paperwork including order, BOM, Procedures, non-conforming and other documents.
Assist Engineering with design for manufacturability.
Keep the operations team fully informed and focused.
Responsible for final production testing of machines after manufacturing completion following testing procedures (TP Documents).
Powers and operates completed machines to ensure they are performing to machine specifications such as oxygen purity, flowrate, and delivery pressure.
Operates and test calibrated machinery to ensure machine performance including but not limited to oxygen purity sensors, pressure gauges, and regulators, thermometers, humidity gauges.
Performs all other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

The Skills You Bring

Minimum 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, in addition good problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with quality control processes and quality management systems.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Customer Focus through flexibility, responsiveness, teamwork and commitment.
