Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
Job Summary:
Assemble and test self-contained mechanical rooms to specification while following all safety and company guidelines.
Job Duties:
Use blueprints, schematics, small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of tasks in areas including but not limited to electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and P&I (P&ID) diagrams to construct industrial HVAC systems including but not limited to:
- Construction of superstructure
- Installation of all specified equipment and components
- Route and connect pipes
- Run electric conduit for wiring
- Install cladding and roof panels, including fabricating holes for vents and pipes
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly, and mechanical drawings.
- Must have strong mechanical skills and experience with basic hand tools and light power tools.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and may occasionally lift over 50 lbs, where employee assistance is required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to do basic computer tasks.
