Job DescriptionJob Description:
The Analyst, Customer Analytics will be responsible for harnessing data from across the organization to create automated, insightful reports and analyses that reveal key trends, optimize performance and drive strategic decision-making. This role involves evaluating processes, using advanced statistical methods, and developing models to unlock business opportunities, enhance the customer experience, and boost sales and retention. Partnering with cross-functional teams, the analyst will support data transformation initiatives, streamline reporting, and deliver impactful presentations to leadership and the board. This position directly supports key organizational metrics and contributes to data-drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Access and analyze data from various departments to develop automated, easy-to-understand reports and ad hoc analyses that answer business questions, identify patterns and highlight key operational metrics.
  • Analyze data to assess process effectiveness and performance across multiple dimensions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing processes that leverage statistical methods, scenario planning and model development to optimize business outcomes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase sales, improve retention and enhance the customer experience by analyzing potential financial and business impacts.
  • Build presentations for leadership and board meetings.
  • Support data transformation projects, with a focus on automation and standardization of data flows and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, testing, documentation and validation of reporting processes that support KPIs and other metrics.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business statistics, applied mathematics or related technical field
  • Previous experience working in a customer analytics role
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including use of formulas, VLOOKUP and formatting (preferred)
  • Experience using SQL, Python, or a similar tool to query, analyze data and present results
  • Experience using Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation
  • Broad analytical experience that can be applied across multiple lines of business or departments
  • Experience in insurance or financial services (preferred)
