Job Description

The Electrical Mechanical Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and machinery for a flavors and fragrance production company. This role ensures optimal equipment performance to support continuous manufacturing operations in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of professional experience. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity and requires to be on site 5 days a week.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, and motors.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
