Job Title: EEG Technician
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $50 – $57/hour
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced EEG Technician to perform routine electroencephalogram (EEG) studies in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent patient care.
Qualifications

Registered EEG Technician (R. EEG T.) – Required

Minimum 1 year of EEG experience
-
BLS/CPR certification
-
EMU experience preferred
-
Strong computer, communication, and critical-thinking skills
-
Ability to complete pre-employment health clearance
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform routine EEG studies in accordance with ASET guidelines
-
Conduct EEG procedures for neonatal through geriatric patients
-
Accurately apply and measure electrodes for adult and pediatric patients
-
Enter, edit, and manage raw EEG data, including 24-hour recordings
-
Perform descriptive analysis of EEG waveforms and patterns

Prepare EEG studies for physician interpretation

Ensure professional interaction with patients and families

Maintain EEG equipment and ensure procedural readiness

Document and report equipment issues accurately

Adhere to all hospital policies, patient confidentiality, and infection control standards
