Join us in our mission as the Executive Director at the Catholic Charities of Care Coordination Services.
Catholic Charities Care Coordination Services is seeking a strategic leader with strong management, fundraising, and communication skills, dedicated to providing support and service to meet the needs of those living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS and other chronic medical conditions. The successful candidate will possess outstanding leadership skills and have a demonstrated capability of building and maintaining relationships with various community partners and leading a mission-focused team.
As the Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
- Develops and shares a clear vision for the agency that is aligned with the mission and vision for Catholic Charities and the Diocese of Albany;
- Demonstrates knowledge and awareness of the distinct function and responsibilities of the Board of Directors, Board President, and Executive Director;
- Works with the agency Board of Directors and Catholic Charities Central Office in the preparation of the agency budget, financial plans and additional fiscal and other reports as required;
- Manages the finances within the parameters of a balanced budget;
- Monitors and evaluates agency’s performance in management and program delivery through the implementation of the Catholic Charities CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) and CC (Corporate Compliance) Standards to ensure compliance;
- Establishes and implements performance standards (QA) for each program in compliance with regulatory, funding, and organizational requirements and ensures that the standards are met;
- Organizes resources (human, physical and fiscal) for effective and efficient operation of the agency;
- Represents the agency and Catholic Charities in a positive, professional manner;
- Ensures that programs are reflective of and consistent with Catholic Charities mission, and integrates mission into the entire spectrum of agency administration and services.
- Provides affirmation, encouragement, and professional development opportunities for staff;
- Provides clear and effective communication, and is fair and honest in all dealings with staff;
- Demonstrates accountability to the Managing Director, including seeking consultation on appropriate matters, providing information on key issues and developments within the agency, and responding to requests in a timely manner.
Executive Director Minimum Salary: $ 75,000
Executive Director Maximum Salary: $ 90,000
Executive Director Schedule: Monday - Friday (35 hours/week)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services OR a related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience working with a diverse population
- Familiarity with and sensitivity to specialized needs of people with HIV, of people with substance abuse and mental health issues, of people of color, of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals.
- Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds within client and staff populations of Chronic illnesses and ability to support staff with appropriate information.
- Ability to provide and instruct others in providing strengths-based, client-centered, proactive case management.
- Access to a reliable, working vehicle and current car insurance and registration, and a valid driver’s license
