Job DescriptionAsset-Based Lending Associate Attorney (2nd–5th Year)
Direct Counsel is seeking an Asset-Based Lending Associate Attorney to join a prestigious global law firm with a highly regarded Structured Credit & CLO practice in New York.
The team represents underwriters, issuers, collateral managers, and debt and equity investors in both broadly syndicated and middle-market collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and other structured products. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with an elite group of attorneys on sophisticated transactions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Qualifications

2–5 years of relevant experience in capital markets, lending, asset-backed securities, or CLOs/CLO warehouses

Law firm experience and a strong academic background

Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing

Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical skills

Team-oriented, proactive, and responsive approach to client service
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $235,000–$365,000, commensurate with experience and other relevant factors.
