HealthYes is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a per diem locum assignment with a hospital-based medical imaging department in Upstate New York near the Syracuse region. Position Overview
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform cardiac and general nuclear medicine studies in an acute care hospital setting. The role encompasses imaging services for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients, with a focus on ensuring patient safety, maintaining image quality, and adhering to clinical protocols. Technologists will work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and imaging staff as part of a collaborative care team.
Assignment Highlights
Hourly compensation ranges from $50 to $62 per hour based on experience and certifications. Per diem locums scheduling offers flexibility based on departmental needs. The role provides a well-equipped imaging department, experienced clinical support staff, and streamlined onboarding with credentialing assistance. Malpractice coverage is provided for the assignment.

Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program or NMTCB-recognized training. Active New York State Department of Health Nuclear Medicine license. ARRT(N) and/or CNMT certification required. Current BLS certification. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred; however, new graduates are also welcome to apply.
