Fluency in both English and Spanish is a mandatory requirement for this position due to regular communication with both English and Spanish-speaking employees, managers, and clients.

We are seeking a highly motivated Day Operations Manager in the West Palm Beach, FL area with proven experience managing operations in Class A+ commercial buildings.

The hours for this position are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be needed based on operational needs.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $57,784 based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of the commercial janitorial industry.
• Familiarity with stripping & waxing floors as well as shampooing carpets.
• Provide recommendations to improve cleaning methods or quality of service.
• Interpret department procedures and enforce safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Possess a driver’s license.
• Able to work flexible hours, occasionally including weekends.
• Available to work if needed during emergency situations (flood, hurricanes, etc.).
• Know how to create a section list.
• Proficient in the use of a smartphone and iPad to do inspections.
• Inspect and maintain equipment.
• Must know concepts, methods, and techniques of scheduling, supervision, inspection, and distribution of materials.
• Able to implement and/or give verbal and written instructions.
• Can prioritize and plan work to meet deadlines. Must know how to interpret specifications and requisition of materials.
• Ability o carry, lift, push, or pull thirty (30) pounds or more.
• Knowledge of Excel and basic math.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience in a supervisory level position.
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience/floor maintenance/window and general cleaning.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience managing janitorial operations, preferably in Class A+ commercial buildings.
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience in floor care, and general cleaning.
• Proficiency with scheduling, payroll systems, and Excel.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic math skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and remain detail-oriented under pressure.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to carry, lift, push, or pull thirty (30) pounds or more.
• Professionalism, flexibility, and a positive, team-oriented approach.
