Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide essential support to students aged 12-21 in a K-12 school setting. This leave contract position in New York, NY offers a meaningful opportunity to deliver IEP-mandated services and make a positive impact on student communication and learning.
Duration & Schedule:
- Leave position from March 1, 2026, to June 1, 2026
- 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Work hours: 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Location:
- Based in New York, NY at a K-12 school
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Speech Language Pathology services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy to students aged 12 to 21
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active New York State SLP license
- Valid teaching certification in Speech Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-age populations preferred
- Commitment to student growth and individualized intervention
