Job Title: Commercial Painter
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated commercial painters to join our commercial/residential development team. You will be responsible for applying paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to both the interior and exterior surfaces of commercial buildings and structures. Your role is crucial in ensuring high-quality and durable finishes that meet client specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths and masking tape.
- Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with OSHA regulations.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of experience in commercial or residential painting.
- Knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with commercial-grade paints and coatings.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- Experience with industrial painting, paint prep, and site preparation.

Work Environment
Work on commercial construction projects across the Saratoga Region. Expect a typical work shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30/3:45 pm, with potential overtime during weekdays and occasional weekends. Candidates may work individually or as part of a team, and reliable transportation is necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saratoga Springs, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
