Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) to provide supervision and clinical support within an elementary school setting. This position focuses on supervising a Clinical Fellow (CF) SLP and supports pediatric speech and language development.
Location: Ballston Spa, NY
Job Type: Contract for the New School Year (NSY)
Work Schedule: Approximately 12 hours per quarter, with the option for additional hours
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and mentorship to a Clinical Fellowship SLP, ensuring adherence to best practices and professional standards.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support speech and language interventions for elementary-aged students.
- Monitor progress and assist with assessment, treatment planning, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and professional requirements.
- Serve as a resource for evidence-based pediatric speech therapy practices within the school environment.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in pediatric SLP, preferably in school and healthcare settings.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and support Clinical Fellows.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of educational speech-language services and related regulations.
