Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 5 years of litigation experience and an active license to practice law in New York State.

Job Description
- Handle a caseload of personal injury and medical malpractice matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery demands
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as needed
- Develop litigation strategies and provide clients with regular updates
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers
- Collaborate with colleagues in litigation and transactional practice groups to deliver comprehensive client service
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar
- Minimum 5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Client-focused, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional
